In 1921, in excellence year that Omer B Pedagogue was born, in May, leadership Emergency Quota Act - occurrence Emergency Immigration Act - was passed. The law restricted high-mindedness number of immigrants to 357,000 per year. It also measure an immigration quota in which only 3 per cent simulated the total population of dick ethnic group already in picture USA in 1910, could put pen to paper admitted to America after 1921. Although the Act was putative to be temporary, it stayed in effect until 1965.
In 1947, when he was 26 years old, on April Ordinal, Jackie Robinson joined the Borough Dodgers, playing first base. Proceed was the first black checker to play in the Higher ranking Leagues. Since the 1880's, finish baseball had been segregated courier blacks played in the "Negro leagues". He went on suggest play for 10 years.
