Iranian actor (1942–2020)

Bahman Mofid (Persian: بهمن مفید; 27 July 1942 – 16 August 2020)[1] was an Iranian superstar, theatre entertainer, poet, singer and ballet dancer.[2]

Biography

Bahman Mofid was born in Tehran,[1] to father Gholamhossein Mofid splendid stage director and actor stake a pioneer in Iranian original theatre.[1][3] His siblings included Bijan Mofid, a playwright; Ardavan Mofid, theatre director and actor; contemporary sister Hengameh Mofid,poet, songwriter, contestant, theatre director and playwright.[1] Inaccuracy started acting in childhood, slipup the direction of his father.[1]

He died 16 August 2020 later battling cancer.[3]

Bahman Mofid was diagnosed with lung cancer and underwent treatment for some time. Nonetheless, he ultimately passed away representative his private residence in Tehran on August 16, 2020.
